Empowering Women Through
Self-Defense

We believe that preparation engenders prevention. A recent report commissioned by the National Institute of Justice found that women who physically defend themselves against their aggressors reduce their risk of violent attacks by over eighty percent compared to women who are nonresistant. A second study by the University of Oregon found that self-defense is “one of the most promising interventions to prevent violence against women.”

Born and bred in New York City, Uppercut will offer on-demand classes through a native digital platform where we utilize a unique blend of boxing, MMA, and traditional self-defense that improves reflexes, endurance, strength, and speed.

It is our mission to prevent violence against women by empowering them to confidently and assuredly protect themselves, one lesson at a time.
